Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Married with 3 children. Work as a school counselor.

Borah track - 20:52

Ran some laps while Emily walked and Nica played in the long jump pit. For the first time since August, my average pace on a run was sub 8:00! (7:58/mile). It seriously hurt though.

A.M. - Run to work - 20:22

With warmer weather, clearance to start running and no childcare pickups for a while, it is a great time to start commuting to work. GPS measures it as 2.55 so round trip we'll call it 5. Felt full of energy this morning and it wasn't too bad of a run.

P.M. - Run home - 19:41

It was warm out and I was tired and dehydrated. The runs home will suck on the busy roads at that time of afternoon. Oh well, it's only 20 minutes. Average pace of 7:37/mile - way faster than I've run in months.

Canal banks - 29:24

Not feeling great today. The whole right side - hamstring, knee, calf and foot - were hurting and not working very well together. Pace was 8:16/mile.
