Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Married with 3 children. Work as a school counselor.

Greenbelt - 1:03

Had a bit of time this morning and got in a good run. I haven't run over an hour in....I don't know how long, but it's been a while. Out in about 7:40 pace, back in about 7:15-7:20. Felt pretty good. Started at Orchard Street and went upstream to the golf course and back.

P.M. - Pushed Nica to Grace Jordan and back for some playground time. 11 minutes of running to pad the total!

A.M. - Canal banks - 20:09

Squeezed in a short run to take a break from yard work.

P.M. - Treadmill at Gold's - 39:10

Did some fartlek during the run. Wasn't on my "A" game today for sure. 4 x 3:00 w/ 2:00 recoveries. Pace on pickups was 6:18/mile (slow). Also did a quarter mile at about 5:50/mile. Hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

Cottonwood Creek - 49:14

Stopped to run here on the drive up to Twin Springs. About 20 minutes on the singletrack trail and the rest on the forest service road. Really nice area and a good day to run. Did 3 x 2:00 pickups on the way down.
