Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Neighborhoods - 31+

Did a little progression run tonight. Lots of lifting and too much eating this weekend (helping mom and dad move into their new house) so I just wanted it to be easy and finish brisk. Splits were: 7:49, 7:09, 6:30 and 5:45 with a short cooldown. That last fast mile didn't seem too hard, which was nice.

XC Practice at South

Ran with the team. Did a timed mile in 6:45 (that was our top runner). Usually we have a couple in the 5's and some girls in the 6's. Could be a long year.

Ran with Mat from the DoubleTree downstream. Did as much as possible on dirt. Pace was about 7:15-7:20 except for the last cooldown stretch with Emily and Nica (in the stroller). Hot out this afternoon; glad we had some shade.
