Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Canal Banks - 31:26

Tired and kind of dehydrated from being out in the sun for a few hours, so the run was kind of short. But it was nice and brisk. Great weather today - hope it will last.

Track practice + canal banks - NT

Warmup, stretching, drills, accels. Then a 1.5 mile quick run to the depot and back, followed by 300, 200, 100 on the track. I ran these hard (can't say they were fast). When I got home, I did a moderate 20 minute run on the canals and ended up on the track.

Weights - 25 minutes at South

Track practice - 45 minutes

Hat tag and capture the flag mostly. Lots of sprinting, a little jogging and some standing around (when I got put in jail). Will be sore tomorrow.

Borah track and campus - 45:01

Took the canals to Borah where I did some time on the track and around the school. Finished with a mile in the neighborhoods. Averaged 7:29/mile and felt great once I got going.

Military Reserve to Rocky Canyon Rd - 1:20

Ran trails this morning to cheer on some of the Robie Creek runners at mile 4. Took the direct route up Buck Trail on the way up, then 3 Bears on the way back. Gorgeous day - too hot for racing - but nice for a good run on some sweet trails. Body super sore from an hour of basketball yesterday in dress shoes and dress clothes.
