Mile time trial + Hulls Gulch - 1:00

Short warmup, mile with xc team in 5:35, hat tag for 20 minutes, short warmdown. Then I ran Hulls Gulch with Jesse and Conrad after practice. Jesse and I ran steady up to the junction in 20 minutes, then the next 26 were at an easy pace with Conrad after Jesse turned back. Will be extremely sore tomorrow from sprinting with the kids playing hat tag.

Hey, you are on track for some decent mileage this week! Really glad to see that. Hope the tendon doesn't take a turn for the worse.

Yeah, I decided to quit being a baby and just have fun and run some miles. My achilles pretty much hurts consistently - but randomly better and worse at times - so there's really no sense in not training hard. The problem is I've gotten lazy the past 15 weeks with an average of 26mpw! Some was legitimate, but part was just not wanting to run through the pain when I could have.
